APP DEVELOPMENT · GHENT

App development that gets you live in weeks

An idea for an app, or work that should happen on your team's phones. We design it, build it, publish it and keep it running: iOS, Android and web, from one team in Ghent.

Fixed price before we start · A working first version in 2 to 4 weeks

You've probably heard this before

  • "It depends", and an hourly rate

You want to know what your app costs and you get a range. We give you a fixed price after the discovery call, before anything gets built.

  • Months of specs, nothing to show

We put a working first version in your hands in two to four weeks. Not a demo: something real people use, so the next decisions come from what they actually do.

  • An agency that's gone after launch

An app needs updates, monitoring and someone who answers. The people who build yours also host it, fix it and pick up the phone.

WHAT WE BUILD

Apps for your customers and for your team

  • iOS and Android apps

For your customers or your own people, published in the App Store and Google Play. Trapspotter runs on iOS, Android and web, and 60K+ drivers use it.

  • Web apps that work on every phone

Often you don't need an app store at all: a web app opens from a link and works straight away. That's how hospitality teams get their schedule from SuperHoreca.

  • Apps connected to the real world

Scanning tickets at the door, opening a door, warning about what's on the road. At Fittin' members book the gym by the hour and open the door with the app.

  • Payments that work in Belgium

Bancontact and SEPA, payouts through Stripe Connect, VAT and Peppol. Ticketbalie pays organisers out automatically.

  • The parts nobody sees

Logins, notifications and an admin panel for your team. We scope them with you, so the fixed price covers what you really need.

  • Secure from the start

We test what we build the way an attacker would, and monthly security checks carry on after launch.

From first call to live app

Every project runs the same way, and you always know what's next and what it costs.

  1. 01

    Discovery

One call, usually the same week. We ask until the scope is crystal clear for both of us.

  2. 02

    A fixed price

A written plan, a fixed price to build and what maintenance costs. The plan is yours to keep, even if you stop there.

  3. 03

    Build

A working first version in two to four weeks. You see it working on real data while we build, not in a demo at the end.

  4. 04

    Live, and kept running

Hosting, monitoring, updates and small changes on a monthly plan. The people who built it are the people on the phone.

What people ask us

What does it cost to have an app built?

We quote a fixed price per project after the discovery call, so you know the number before we start. It depends on what the app has to do: which platforms, logins, payments and links to your other systems. You also know up front what hosting and maintenance cost per month.

How long does it take to build an app?

Discovery takes about a week. A working first version follows in two to four weeks, and most builds ship in two to six weeks depending on scope. For the App Store and Google Play we also plan in the time Apple and Google take to review it.

Do I need iOS and Android, or is a web app enough?

That depends on who uses it and what it has to do. A web app opens from a link and is often enough for a team or an internal tool. Being in the stores, or features that lean on the phone itself, can make a store app worth it. We tell you on the first call which one fits, and why.

Who owns the code?

You can always take the code with you. We would rather keep you because it runs well than because you are locked in.

Does it work with the tools we already use?

That is most of the job. We connect to Stripe, Shopify, your booking system, your mailbox and your spreadsheets instead of asking you to replace everything you already pay for.

Who keeps it running after launch?

We do: hosting, monitoring, updates and small changes on a monthly plan. The people who built it are the people who fix it.

Have an app in mind?

Tell us what it should do and who will use it. We'll tell you honestly whether an app is the answer, and what it would cost.
